Hi

I have a large number of images and I would like to sort these by pixel count/number of pixels (i.e. 0 - 1MP, 2MP - 3MP and so on). But how do I figure which ones has what number of pixels!? It would be cool if I could sort them in Windows Explorer like when I use 'Dimensions' or 'Size' !?

Thanks
Carsten

With Windows 7:
Right click on a blank space in that folder
Select Group By - More
In the resulting dialog box, scroll down to Dimensions. Click the checkbox
Right click again in the folder, and select Sort By
Select Dimensions

For Windows 8, similar, but done on the Ribbon:
View tab
Add columns - select Dimensions
Sort by - select Dimensions

Or...just sort by File Size.

I don't believe there is a function (in Windows Explorer) for 'pixel count'

Hi
Thanks for the answer, not quite what I'm looking for though, maybe I need a peace of third party software!?

Looking through a couple of my other image viewer thingies (XnView, Fastone Image Viewer)...there is not a selection to sort on 'pixel count'. I don't think that exists.
