CMOS Chip doesnt work anymore..

hey guys everytime i start up my pc the time and date are resetted .. so i opened my pc to replace the cmos batterij but it dint have one .. cuz i have a cmos chip .. what do i need to do to let it work..

No i have look into my pc and there is no CMOS battery near the RAM slots there is a big chip ...

It has a battery somewhere, they all do. What model is your motherboard? I've seen a few AMD boards where they turned the battery up on it's side so that it isn't always easy to spot, but it does have one.

my bad i checked whole motherboard and found it under my big graphiccard :D .. i am sorry
