I have a amd fx-8320 and the second core is averaging 99% when I play games. Is there anyway I can spread the load? The other seven cores are running at or below 20% with a jump to 60% on one of the core sometimes. Any help will be appreciated.
The game is either written for multi-core cpus or it is not - and most of them are still not. There is nothing you can do about it. Maybe the next version of your favorite game will support multi-core.

Could relying on one core cause fps drops? I have been experiencing fps drop of 20-30 frames in all of my games.
