Whats the difference between these two same speed powerline adapters

This one is £44:

The only difference i see is 'gigabit' i would have guessed this means it can transfer 1gbps but it says 500mbps on it aswell. Which one would be better for gaming?

You probably won't see any speed difference between the two, in the same house.

Unless you have more than a 100m internet connection it doesn't really matter. Even the ones that have the gig ports seldom get above 100m unless you are very lucky and you have some optimum house wires.

I'm saying that is just marketing-speak. Almost certainly no discernible difference in performance between the two.
