I currently have a EVGA GTX Titan. What is the best option for adding another card (SLI)? Do I have to have another Titan, or what else is compatible?

Normally you can add different cards as long as they're the same class. i.e. a gtx 780 can sli with a 780ti, or a 770, or a 760 etc...

As far as the Titan goes, I believe the only option is another Titan because their architecture is slightly different, something to do with the processor on board I believe.

I have single Dell 24 @ 1920x1200. Refresh is poor both off/online. I play FPS (B'Lands2, Skyrim, TombR) but online media is poor - is it the GPU catching up with the download or the GPU refreshing the screen? There appears to be a bottleneck.

If you don't like the monitor and you've got a grand to spend, wait until the G-Sync comes out in a few months.

What do you mean by "online media is poor"?

Video quality can be monitor, settings or bad card. Download/upload speeds have nothing to do with the GPU since it is a function of your internet connection and related hardware such as network adapter.
So really tell us the rest of the system since you got one of the best GPU solution there is.

Try a quick test Dave, watch a DVD or Blu Ray if you have a player, and see how it looks. If it still looks bad, try a different monitor, or your tv and see how it looks then.

It's most likely just your internet connection.
