Sudden Fps Issues

I recently encountered some issues while trying to run games on my pc. Every game i try to run has serious fps issues, often rarely getting past 20 fps, which is weird because I normally get around 60 fps in the games i play. I tried lowering the settings, and it makes little to no difference. I've tried cleaning my system, i've checked and there were no recent driver updates, all my hardware seems to be running at normal temps. I'm at a loss on what the problem could be. I'm thinking it has to be the graphics card, but I have no idea why it would crap out on me all of a sudden. Anybody else had this problem?

My rig:
Core i5 3570
Geforce gtx 670
8gb ddr3
650w psu
1tb hdd

The games ive tried are borderlands 2, assassins creed 4, mass effect 3, far cry 3, and chivalry.
My psu is an apevia.
The gpu is running in the low 60's range (celsius), and the cpu is running in the low 40's.
I have scanned for viruses and malware, and turned up nothing.
I've had this current set up for a little over a year, except for the ram and hdd which was from a previous build. I don't know if that helps.

I believe I have fixed the issue. I uninstalled and reinstalled the graphics drivers for my card, and my games are running fine now. Hopefully this problem is solved. thanks for your responses.
