I have 16gb of DDR3 (CPU-Z tells me that each stick's maximum bandwidth is PC3-12800 (800MHz) I don't know if this is helpful or not), and I was wondering if that is sufficient for gaming?
If it's saying that in the MAXIMUM BANDWIDTH tab, then it is nothing more than the default boot speed for the sticks, they may be 1600, 1866, 2133, 2400 or even higher sticks - (obviously if that's the boot freq then they are fine for gaming) to find what the sticks actually are look at the part # on the SPD tab....CPU-Z can be very confusing. You may well have better sticks and they may even be running slow
