I just started to put together a new build I have and I have run into a problem where nothing(BIOS, boot, anything) will display. When everything was plugged in all of the fans, optical drives, Hard drives etc. started spinning and everything powered on and would stay on as long as i left it, but nothing displays on my screen. I have removed my gpu and tried using the motherboard DVI port to no avail, then i tried removing the optical drive and hard drive with no luck on either. Finally i removed the RAM and nothing happened. From what i understand, the computer should beep when there is no ram installed, but it acts the same every time, just powers on, turns on all fans and LEDs and just sits there. I know the monitor is plugged in because it says "no signal" not "check cable". All of my components are new so there shouldn't be any damage problems

my build
Case: Thermaltake level10 GT
CPU: i5 3570k
GPU: gtx 770
Motherboard: z77 Extreme 4

any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Solution
take the gpu out and use one dimm. new mb dont come with speakers any more you have to get one if it comes with your case. make sure the mb sitting on the 8 brass standoffs and the io shield not shorting the mb out. on the edge of the mb will be eight pin power plug make sure you connected it with the right power supply cable. the 6 plus two cables are for the video cards. there should be a 4 pin or one eight pin cable. check that the reset button on the right pins and not pushed in also unplug the case fans and usb ports if one of them went bad it can short the mb out. the last issue could be a bad power supply or bad seating of the cpu or bent pins under the cpu.
