I bought 1000ft of (unshielded) UTP CAT6 Belkin cable for my home LAN and wonder if I can use CAT6 shielded connectors with CAT6 UTP cable?
The reason is CAT6 shielded connectors look more robust and can be found for similar price than regular unshielded CAT6 connectors?
Tried to search online but could not find any related discussions whether or not shielded connectors with unshielded cable and router/switch would work or cause any issues?
