So i recently checked out "eXtreme Power Supply Calculator" and it said I only needed 500 watts for running two radeon vapor-x 7950 with my i5 2500 3.2 ghz, is this accurate/true?

Sorry if I was making myself unclear, my english is not my mothers tongue.

I would not try that at all, I'd go closer to 750W PSU

Unplugging your components removing 4 screws, taking PSU out, putting new one in and putting 4 screws in and reconnecting all of your components

not very, depends on the CPU you have currently and the one you're buying i.e are they modular or not. It's not difficult just a bit time consuming around an hour or so if it's your first time.

I agree with the guy above 750-800w perfect for you as long as it's a good brand name i.e XFX,Seasonic,Antec,Corsair

Is it "just" putting the new PSU in and plugging the new cables where the old ones were?

yep, this is how you do it unplug old cables> unscrew and remove OLD PSU>place and screw in new PSU>Plug in all components to the PSU and wabang.

If you want this crossfire setup you infact NEED a better PSU, a Single 7950 will struggle on a 500w psu with some CPUs
