Recently I reinstalled windows 7 home premium on my HP laptop and I started going through all the updates from Windows update. A new issue that has started is that the computer is at the loading screen and the screen will flash for a second and the logo will freeze. Sometimes it just remains there for a long time, sometimes it gives me a BSOD with "Stop 0x00000101 A clock interrupt was not received on a secondary processor within the allocated time interval", and occasionally it boots just fine. Running system repair doesn't yield any results, and sfc also didn't turn up anything. The system boots fine into safe mode which makes me think it's a driver issue, probably from the windows updates, but I don't know how to pinpoint which one and take care of it. I also don't have a system restore point that fixes this issue because I have newly reinstalled. Any help would be appreciated.
