7850 vs 7870

Solution
There isn't much difference between the two, you will notice about a 5% difference between them if at stock which is what 5 - 10FPS at the most. The 7870 will OC further if you choose to, but I have seen some 7850's OC just as high. If your not short on money, Pick up the 7870, otherwise the 7850 is still a decent card. Im not sure what your spending budget is, but the 7950 is even better yet.

i need to know your other specs, the cpu, psu, and so on. the 7870 is alot better between the 2 you posted. but there are other brand like msi, gigabyte and asus. these are all good manufactuers and makes good cards. im going to guess that you will be gaming on a 1080p screen, in that case the 2gb vram is going to be usefull in the future for crossfire. buy a good quality psu thats at least 450w if you dont already own one. i recommend bbuying a 750w psu instead for future upgrades.
