Updated firmware and now dns issues?

I updated my DLink DIR-655 firmware. The ethernet connected desktop seems to connect fine, but my laptop on wireless keeps pooping out on sites (technical term...stops connection to the site). I did some searching, and tried flushing the dns. This seemed to fix it, but it's happening more often. I just tried /renewdns to see if that may fix it more permanently?

Is there some other setting I'm missing? IIRC, when I switched wireless hubs a couple of years ago, it didn't do this.

did that....
everything worked fine until installing the firmware update.

no problem devices in device manager.
IP properties set to obtain DNS automatically.
seems like flushing dns fixes things for a while... can't renew ip.

well, i guess the alzheimers is kicking in. I backtracked and checked the firmware version I installed and compared it to the one that was on the web site.... DANG!!!! the version on the site was diff from the one I installed. Don't know how I did that. So far all is back to normal.

I would say that that is not an Alz problem, and more than likely a web poster probem that didn't update the file or wording correctly, or something like that.
