Hey

I recently purchased a Asus VS239HR and I have pretty bad backlight bleeding in the lower left corner.

I'm wondering what I should do about this. Is there a way I can fix this myself? Or should I just return it and get another panel?

Cheers

yeah looks not very good at all, I would just replace the panel and get a new one as that is impossible to fix. Don't want to void warranty so best if you replace it
Never try to fix things yourself, if it is still in warranty it is best if you return your product as if you try to do it yourself you can void warranty and then you'll be gone as you won't be able to return it. There isn't much of a way you can fix this and Asus usually have reliable products which makes me wonder how old is your monitor and the environment in which it is in. It must be a defective model and you should replace it instead of tampering with it.
