Hi all,

there's a good deal in my area on a GTX660-DC2-2GD5
- in fact it costs about the same as 650ti...
and cheaper than any other brand's 660...
i know they have versions with different coolers too - is this a good one to get?
the cooler on this one looks something like the one on 660ti and even 670
the GTX660-DC2OCPH-2GD5 however , atlest visually, looks inferior to me...
might have a slightly higher gpu clock but i would cover that with some mild OC anyway...

i'm actually quite familiar with them so i know ;)
but now i found a gigabyte GV-N660OC-2GD for some ~3$ more... and it got me thinking,

here's my story - i have briefly used a asus gtx560 directcu2 oc in the past when they came out, and a gigabyte gtx560 super overclock version too,
and honestly the gigabyte ended up being the better card - the asus one had a terrible coil whine, even tho they were advertising their
super alloy power etc. all over the place and how it supposedly should make zero noise... the gigabyte however was dead quiet
even tho the build quality felt slightly better on the asus ... altho honestly that's jsut the matte black pcb... heatsink was a bit more serious on the gigabyte card...

so what do you guys think, looks like i have a choice again between these two brands... anyone has similar experience with these?
