Asrock 'Good Night LED'?

Using an Asrock Extreme 4 Z77, had this problem a while.

Theres a BIOS setting called Good Night LED, it has the options Enabled, Disabled and Auto. Auto and Enabled do the exact same thing, the power light is either solid on when the system is powered on, or flashing/incredibly annoying when the PC is in sleep mode.

The Disabled mode just turns off the power LED... completely pointless, if I wanted that I'd just unplug it.

So am I the idiot or were Asrock just not thinking on this one?

Thanks.

Some people don't turn off their computer. They just put it in sleep or leave it on a night (I personally think that both is useless and a waste of power).

Its supposed to turn of all LEDs on the PC, and I think, including the mouse and keyboard LEDs, so they are not distracted by them.

It may not be useful to you, but to some, it may be.

I agree with cookybiscuit, this setting is a bit 'weird':

LED Good Night does currently:
-AUTO: System on -> LED on, Suspend mode -> LED blinks, Hibernate mode -> LED off
-Enabled: System on -> LED off, Suspend mode -> LED off, Hibernate mode -> LED off (LED fully off )
-Disabled: System on -> LED on, Suspend mode -> LED blinks, Hibernate mode -> LED off (so, exactly the same as AUTO!?!?!?!)

What LED Good Night SHOULD BE in my opinion:
-AUTO: System on -> LED on, Suspend mode -> LED blinks, Hibernate mode -> LED off
-Enabled: System on -> LED off, Suspend mode -> LED off, Hibernate mode -> LED off (LED fully off, as now)
-Disabled: System on -> LED on, Suspend mode -> LED off, Hibernate mode -> LED off (no more blink in Suspend, please!)
