Will I be able to over clock my fx 6300 to 4.0 ghz?

hello, I'm just wondering if I can overclock with a tx3 Eco and 4 fans from the zap man z3 plus case. I'm not gonna crazy overclock just a bit to get more performance Case: zalman z3 plus. CPU: amd fx 6300. Gpu. Asia direct cu ii r9 270x. CPU cooler. Cooler master hyper tx3 evo. Mobo. Asrock pro 3 970 Sox for shit grammar an spelling doing it on a phone

I had my FX 6300 OC'd to 4.6 stable, so 4.0 will be very easy. I believe the voltage was set at 1.34 to get it to 4.6.

oh jesus, i've FX-6200 overclocked to 4.5Ghz, standard clock is 3.8 and it is running at 1.450V i think

Anything over 1.35 is really taking it too far imo...not to mention totally unnecessary.

My 8350 is only at 1.36v at 4.6.

If you have CPU-Z, or this... http://www.evga.com/eleet/ it will make identifying it much easier than having to go into bios. But yeah, I'll need more info.

Your core speed is only showing 1.9 Mhz and your voltage is at 0.896, so you probably got cool and quiet enabled?
