I want to play games like BF3, BF4, COD like titles at ultra resolutions...

Should I go with a console with a big screen of 27 inch or build my own pc ?

Building a computer isn't difficult, the harder part is choosing parts for a PC. Here are some things you can do:

XBOX ONE:

+ A little bit cheaper than a gaming PC.
+ Games are optimized for the console and therefore you can get more performance out of it.
+ Easier to to move.

- You are a lot more limited to what you can do with your system comparerd to PC.
- You can't pick parts for it.
- You will get a lot less eye candy. (Graphics)

PC:

+ Extremely powerfull compared to a console.
+ You can build whatever you want depending on your budget.
+ Beautiful visuals and particle effects at higher resolutions with better FPS sometimes.
+ You are free to do what you want, you don't have a limited operatingsystem. So you can use it for working with photoshop and so on.

- Could cost a little bit more if you want a lot of performance.
- A lot heavier.

In my opinion, if you already have a budget of atleast 1000$ you can build a pretty powerful PC depending on where you live. Mine costed me about 900$ to build and i can play most games at medium settings and above with 60fps.

If you are willing to spend at least $850-1000 (you said your budget is max $2500), it would probably be better to build your own pc.

A pc and a console are meant for different things. The Xbox One is a "cheap" alternative and has everything needed built in to game at 720/1080p, but not at max settings. It is made purely for entertainment. A PC can be made for entertainment, plus productivity. With a budget of $2500, you can easily build a pc that maxes out everything on a 27" screen (I'm assuming its 1920x1080). It really depends on what you are looking for in a gaming system. If you really want to play at ultra resolutions and are sensitive to performance drops and/or smaller visual details, go with a good, home-built pc.

With that much money why not just buy an xbox one and the game you want and then use the rest of the money to build a pc which should leave close to 1700 or 1800 after you buy everything you want for the xbox one and you still get a really good pc for 1700
