I've decided it's time to upgrade and build a new system
as my GPU is overheating and it's been 3-4 years since I've changed computers.
This computer is mainly for gaming and graphics/video design so I need a good one.

I do have new parts for the computer already but I need suggestions for some parts I'm unsure of.
What I have right now is :
2x GTX 660TI
64 BIT Windows 7 Disc.
128GB SSD
16GB DDR3 1600MHz
3x ASUS monitor VH236H 23"
Corsair HX1050w PSU
Corsair H80 Watercooler.

Please suggest me what motherboard I should get for SLI, HDD, CPU, and computer case.
Anything other parts I'm missing?

I have i7 3770k and Corsair 900D in mind already but I'm open to suggestions.
I need a CPU that has great performance in gaming and graphics/video design and a good computer case for good airflow and possible custom watercooling in the future.
Need something that's future proof and can last me few years.
Also, I need an active display port for my three monitors so can someone provide me a link for that one as well? Thank you, I appreciate it.

Here is what I would go with. The CPU is just what you need, rock solid motherboard that will let you OC and SLI, and a good alternative case. I don't think you need to spend $300 on the 900D, the 750D is half the price, looks the same, and still offers plenty of options for watercooling.

for the money there the r300/r400 cases there under 100.00 and not bad. the gpu you have not bad if there failing have you tried rma them??? for the money asus hero or the asus pro with built in wifi card not bad. (z87). if you have a local micro center the 4770k and mb combo cant be beat. the 1155 cpu is a dead slot now.

I heard the 3770k was better for overclocking?
As for the mobo, I need something that's SLI compatible and fits another video card slot.

They both overclock fine. Socket 1155 is a dead-end, there should be a new CPU refresh for socket 1150 this year.

Are you wanting to run three GPUs? That motherboard supports SLI.
