problem with graphics card

Hi,

i got a new dell inspiron 3521, i3 3rd gen, 500gb harddisk, 4gb RAM. It was ubuntu preinstalled.
I installed windows 7. The seller said it has intel hd 4000 graphics. But the device manager is showing ''STANDARD VGA GRAPHICS''.. Even dxdiag is showing VGA.. I havent updated any of the drivers yet. Is it because i need to update the driver, or am i fooled by the seller..???

You need to install the drivers, the device manager is showing you that because it doesn't know what part you have installed.

The i3 CPU has HD 4000 video built into it, so unless you don't have the CPU you say you do, you have the HD 4000 video.

Drivers are the first thing you need to install after installing an operating system.
