I am having trouble with a network printer. Everyone can print to it, except for one computer. I tried multiple profiles and it still won’t print. The computer can print to other devices. I removed the old drivers and re-installed them from the print server. The IP address in the port is correct. Everything checks out good. It goes through the print queue and spooler without an issue, but does not reach the printer. The network connection is good. I restarted the spooling service and removed all other printers, but the issue continues. I am at a loss and need help. :??: Thank you.

Two things first are you able to ping the printers IP address from the computer that can't print. Second what is the make and model of the printer is there any type or password needed to be set in the printer proprieties in that computer in order to print. Also what operating system in the computer running? I am assuming that there is a domain setup.

I can ping the printer and verified that the ip address on the printer is correct. It is a Tochibda E-Studio 3040C. The computer is running Windows 7. Yes it is in a domain.

Are the permissions setup on the server to allow everyone to print? Can you access the web interface, do your users needs to put in a password when they try to print. I know some of my clients have their printers setup so only certain users can print color, or staple, or any other function. But I need to add the password on their computer to be able to print anything.

Permissions are good and passwords are not required. The problem seemed to clear itself and my test pages and everything else from that computer started to print. User came in and it just started working. Thank you for your assistance, it is appreciated! :D
