Should I buy or build?

Hey everyone,
I've created this gaming rig, with a help of a few people:

http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/2ufR0

But I've heard about the Digital Storm VANQUISH gaming PCs:

http://www.digitalstormonline.com/vanquish.asp

The two cheapest versions of the Vanquish are $699 and $819 and my custom PC is around $945.

My question is, will my Custom PC perform better than the first two versions of the DS Vanquish?
And if so, will it be any considerable difference?

Also, is there any other DigitalStorm desktop that is cheaper than my build but also performs better?

Cheers,
RaspyScout.

Your build is much more powerful than the VANQUISH builds. The GPU you've picked is considerably more powerful than the first build's and inches out the second's one. Your CPU is about on par with their offerings it terms of gaming performance.

There aren't any other DigitalStorm desktops that are cheaper than your that will perform better to be honest and I've gone right the way through.

Go with your build, it's flat out better.

Would the 3rd option be better than my build, like the others are saying?

Yes gaming wise, the 3rd Vanquish option would perform better then your custom build, HOWEVER your custom build with the SSD boot would still perform faster outside of gaming (unless you add a boot SSD to the Vanquish PC).

If it was my computer, I would keep your custom built over the Vanquish, but upgrade to an Intel i5 instead of the FX-6300.

You can also find a cheap (reliable if you check feedback ratings) computer builder on eBay that will customize a system much cheaper then Digital Storm. Local computer shop I have visited below:

The FX6300 is usually selling for 110, not for the 140 that your link says.

The G skill sniper 1600mhz 8gb ram is way too expensive. I bought it a month ago for 50.

That hard drive was 60 bucks when I bought it a month ago.

In summary, those prices are way too high and you can probably cut out 100 bucks if you just wait two weeks. When you say you "created" the gaming rig, do you mean that you assembled it virtually or that you actually bought and put the parts together?

I priced out a few vanquish models, including the 699 version and they were way overpriced. The 1,400 vanquish pc was only 1000 on pacpartpicker with the same, EXACT parts. The 699 version was also like 100 or 150 bucks cheaper on pcpartpicker; I don't recall the exact figure.
