Hello guys I have a little problem I was gaming and what happenend my pc shuted down then rebooted and did not went to windows instead it just locked on motherboards logo than it keept rebooting itself. Now the Dram led is on which indicates that there is ram fault however i can only hear beep messages only when I take the ram out the pc turns on quickly reboots and keeps it self on without any display on screen or sound I thought that the motherboard failed so I bought new one and the situation seems to be kind of worse because it boots quickly restarts and than keeps restarting every 20 seconds or so any help what so ever would be appriaciated btw the power supply is 3months olds so I dont think that it is the fault in there.

sabertooth ha been through 3 of them...... i wonder if asus has a bios, bios chip issue looking at all the asus stuff here at toms.... reguardless ,when it comes time to hit del or what ever key to enter the bios it should with out looping you may pull the boards battery out for like 2-5 sec. to reset things [clear cmos] and see if it will go after that.. or the battery [dead or bad] may have not keeped the bios up and killed it[??] ya i anit to hip on asus any more.... try that and see

I have 2 motherboards now one of them gaming msi g43 and sabertooth z77 both have pretty much the same issue just the MSI motherboard I got today (new) the sabertooth quickly reboots and stay on and on msi motherboard the pc quickly reboots and keeps rebooting every 10-20 seconds and i tried reseting cmos no changes seem to appear.

seeing that bouth boards seem to show near the same issue it looks like that a hardware [cpu, vid card mem stick] may be faulty .. with out having a back up hardware to check it s hard to determan did you look for bent pins in the scocket? that seems to be an issue with intel chips ...

I cant see any but aIso dont think its cpu because it wouldint go off in midle of operation and later appearing that it was bent pin which worked for few months.I suspect power supply but I cant send it back because I dont know if its actually the item that is bad.

Tried but still the same problem. I dont understand the differences if its not motherboard because on Msi motherboard it constantly reboots and on asus motherboard it reboots once and keeps runing its not ram I suppose because MemOk on Asus should of fixed.

Any other suggestions btw thx for your time.
