My laptop model is Samsung NP300E5X-S01 with Intel i5, 4GB DDR3 RAM @ 1,600MHz (4GB x 1), 750GB S-ATAII Hard Drive (5,400RPM), 1GB gDDR3 NVIDIA GeForce 610M Graphics. I use 64 bit OS. For my work I need to run several applications on virtual machines. I am thinking of upgrading my RAM to 8GB so that guest OS can have sufficient memory while host OS's performance does not get affected. Will this upgradation of RAM be helpful for me as per my laptop's hardware specifications?
