Let me first start by saying that I'm new to overclocking, its been a really long time since I last built a PC (it had IDE drives) anyway, back to my question, I just built a new PC the specs are listed below

MOBO ASUS M5A99X EVO R2.0 AM3+
CPU AMD FX 8350 8 Core 4.0GHz
GPU ATI R7850 1GB
Memory 16GB(4x4GB modules) G Skill RipJaw DDR3 2133
Power Supply is a Roswell 650Watt.

The memory says 2133MHz (OC) and the motherboard also says it supports 2133 memory. After the PC was built and I confirmed that its working I started to look into the BIOS settings and I noticed that the BIOS sees the memory as 1600MHz so I changed it 2133 and saved the changes and rebooted, the PC started POST and I received a screen that said "Overclocking failure please press F1 to return to BIOS and correct the error" or something along those lines that's not word for word what it said.

So finally my question (sorry for the long winded description) what do I need to do to get the memory running at 2133MHz?

Thanks in advanced for the help

Thanks that worked! one more question should I expect to see a dramatic change in performance after doing this? I ran NovaBench and my memory score increased by only 1.4%. I thought increasing the speed by about 25% would show at lease a 10% increase, again this is the only PC I have ever overclocked so I'm not sure I should see.

Thanks for all the help!
