Hey Guys,

I am looking for a new monitor, and I found these three from lg for all around €250.I am stuck between the three (LG IPS277l,27ea73lm,27ea63v) I want 27inch and Bezeless so I chose these. Which of these three would be best for gaming? I will be playing the new next gen games such as BF4, CoD:Ghosts etc. So here is the link Monitor Comparison Please help me ASAP as I desperately need a monitor! Also what is the difference between IPS and TFT?
Thanks in advance

TBH with you, LG is using terms like "cinema screen" which I'm guessing is telling you it has a 16:9 aspect ratio and "super resolution" which is just 1080p... I think that is hilarious because 1080p is not a crazy high resolution these days, but guess its good for marketing scams. The main specs you look for in a monitor Alex are the following.. IPS, 5ms or less response time, 23"-27" in viewing size, LED backlight, at least 1080p or as LG puts it "super resolution" :) , and...
I cannot find a single monitor there, so I am stumped. So I would say go with the one you like most.

IPS (In-plane switching) is a screen technology used for liquid crystal displays (LCDs). It was designed to solve the main limitations of the twisted nematic field effect (TN) matrix LCDs in the late 1980s, such as relatively high response time, strong viewing angle dependence and low-quality color reproduction. In-plane switching involves arranging and switching the molecules of the liquid crystal (LC) layer between the glass substrates. This is done in a plane parallel to these glass plates.

A thin-film-transistor liquid-crystal display (TFT LCD) is a variant of a liquid-crystal display (LCD) that uses thin-film transistor (TFT) technology to improve image qualities such as addressability and contrast. A TFT LCD is an active-matrix LCD, in contrast to passive-matrix LCDs or simple, direct-driven LCDs with a few segments.

What do you mean you cannot find a single monitor there?

Thanks, I love the idea of 2560x1440p but I do not like that monitor it is a bit too 'bulky'

If I were to choose from any of the LG links you posted it would be this one. http://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-27EA63V-P-led-monitor - It has anti glare, snappy response time, its decently priced compared to the alternative options you gave us, and I like the slim bezel design which will come in handy if you decide to do surround gaming in the future. Hope this helps. :)

Hey thanks a lot for your troubles but through another examination I found the 27ea73lm was better than the 27ea63v and did actually order the 27ea73lm because I did like its design more. I will still pick your answer as best and thanks a lot for helping me out :)
