So I am in love with this res.....

...unfortunately the manufacturer of this product does not have pump tops for D5 pumps yet so I'm here asking the community if I can mod an aftermarket pump top like this that fits both inlet and outlets of the res....

Any other tube res/pump combo mods other than the XSPC photon 5 you reccommend would be greatly appreciated.

Its possible to mod anything to how you want it, the question is can you mod it. We cant tell you that.

I would be looking at G1/4" male-male adapters to connect the pump to the res, depending where and how the assembly is mounted you might need a bracket or something to hold up the pump, as it hanging by a fitting doesnt sound like a good idea.

Thanks for your reply. Yeah the flow probably would be pretty bad modded like that....

I have decided to go with a stand alone pump for now with the res seperate until FrozenQpcMods makes the D5 tops.

The male-male adapter solution wouldn't require any modding (except maybe the bracket unless you have the pump on the floor of the case), you can buy them off the shelf.
