what game is that? it might or it might not work. if it works, it'll be quite slow with frustrating frame rates. its really better you get a discrete video card.

The HD 3000 is not as good as the 6800 GT, its on par with the 6600 GT. TBH the intel HD 3000 is only useful for general use, web browsing and super light gaming. There is a hierarchy chart here http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-graphics-card-review,3107-7.html

usually my rule of the thumb when it comes to pc games is that you have to meet atleast the minimum specs of the game. anything less would probably end up running but not really playable cos it might run too slow or might look too ugly.
