Should i get a new case?

I built a budget pc about 5 months ago and i bought a £30 case. it is Cit Vantage-R gamers case. It doesn't have the best airflow and the plastic front on the case sometimes pops off when you pick it up. And some of the edges are very sharp, i cut my hand on the side when trying to tidy some cables up inside.

depends what you plan to put in it for airflow. and the rest is down to you if you want a new case get one but if your worried about airflow then list parts and that will give us an idea of what kind of airflow you need

you should be fine. temps will be a bit higher than with a better case. like i said though if you want a better case then get one before you build your pc because once you build it you wont want to move everything over to a new case

Once i have enough money i plan to upgrade motherboard and put another 7870 in it.

The cpu runs at about 55 C idle with the stock cooler(I just bought a better one off amazon corsair h55) and the gpu runs at about 30 C idle

55 degrees C is high for it being idle. i don't get that under load. a CPU cooler can only do so much it need good airflow which in turn gives good exhaust. with your current set up the CPU cooler would extract the heat into the case and the case couldn't extract the heat

I just checked on amd overdrive and it says 55.1 C and i only have amd overdrive open and 3 tabs in chrome. The cpu load is about 16%

you should have a look at NZXT's case's they have good airflow if not give me a price range and ill get back to you

Not really any colour scheme but I want to make the cables tidy. Are the corsair cases any good?

the corsair cases from what i have heard are good case's but i do believe them to be a bit pricey for what you get. take a look at NZXT they have good air flow and cable management and if not that then good quality cooler master case's ( i say all this but corsair do make good case's)

Another good case however I don't know wether it has a fam controler but that's just an extra add on but apart from that it's a nice open case that has good airflow and lots of room for expansion
