Does This PSU support Xfx Radeon R9 290

I currently have an old 500 watts power supply, which i assume is too low for the r9 290.
I've done some searching and found This PSU; "ProSeries P1-650X-XXB9 XXX Edition Semi Modular (Bronze)"

Yes, I'm very stupid when it goes to PSUs, so im wondering if it supports the r9 290. Hope you can answer ;)
(I've looked at the Corsair TX650 v2, but its not available in Norway, atm).

650W is certainly enough, at least for 1 R9 290. That PSU is compatible with the R9 290.
  2. Thanks for the fast answer, i'll look into it!
  3. Should be fine but it is on the low side. Try and get a hynix card. Elpida cards aren't looking so good. I have a sapphire 290 and i am suffering black screen crashes on gaming.

Edit- i am sure i see 500Watts. 650Watts is good. Perfect for the 290.
