I spent the last 7 hours last night trying to setup this Asus M5a97 LE r2.0 and can't get any video on 3 different monitors with both VGA cables and HDMI. I tried everything from swapping the RAM sticks around to using none at all, swapping between the two PCIe slots, switching the cmos jumper over 10 times, and it just won't display. I know my other components are working perfectly fine as they were on my other mobo the MSI 760gm-p23 so I know it's not that. The fans are all spinning correctly from the CPU, GPU, PSU, and case and the green light on the mobo is on.

My CPU is an AMD FX 8320 Black Edition 8-core and I'm certain that this mobo supports the FX series. However I did read somewhere that the bios might need an update, but how can I when there isn't even a display and I have no other CPU chips to test it with.

Here are my specs if it helps any:
Mobo - Asus M5a97 LE r2.0
CPU - AMD FX 8320 Black Edition 8-core
RAM: 2x4GB (8GB)
GPU: Nvidia Geforce GT 440 1GB
PSU: Enermax 550w
HDD: WD 1TB HDD

Solution
Is the CPU fan spinning when starting the board? If yes and still no beeps, then it's either a board or a CPUissue. I suggest RMA-ing them both.
Connect that speaker and start the board with only CPU and CPU fan installed, both 24 and 8 pin power cables connected.
See if getting the CPU fan spinning and if 1 long 2 short beeps. It would be good to test the board outside the case, for ruling out a short.

I might've found the problem, the CPU wasn't completely in but it seems to be an issue with the socket. Two pins are now slightly bent.

Edit: Nope that wasn't the issue it still won't work, no beeps even with a speaker hooked up.

It spins. I actually hooked up my old Mobo again to make sure I didn't accidentally damage the CPU and everything works fine (beeps and bios screen appears) so I know it's the board. I'll be taking it back (bought it from Frys). Keep in mind I did buy this new board just yesterday and I used my PC the very same day before I took it apart and put the new board in.
