I have this motherboard paired with an AMD a6-5400k and it runs stupidly hot on the stock cooler and I was wanting to lower the voltage. However; in the uefi bios, the option to change multiplier and voltage are greyed out. I can however, adjust the gpu clock. Any help is appreciated.

How about a new cooler.

Stupidly hot is 84c at max cpu load. And yes I have been considering a new cooler.

Change the utility, because 84c is wrong. The maximum operating temperature for this cpu is 70°C.

Having the same problem with this mobo, it wasn't a huge issue when I had an a6-5400K because MSI's OC genie did a decent job, overclocking it to 4.1 GHZ. However, recently upgraded to an Athlon X4 760K and it does not overclock it whatsoever with the genie, and I still can't touch the multiplier/voltage.

Edit: Just put it in the a6-5400K and the OC genie works, but the multiplier and voltage are still unavailable.
