New pc 660 possible?

Solution
I would give preference to build your own pc as well. I bought a stock pc as well with and good cpu i7-2600 but i started replacing things now as well. New psu, new gpu ( gtx 660 :p). Check out linus tech tips on youtube( There you can find some vids of how to build yur pc and some nice tips You dont have to follow everyting he does since we( well i dont) got 2k money.... When i bought my stock pc i tought building your own pc was hard as fuck. But now i wish i did it. Dont waste money on a office pc where you have to upgrade all components for by yurself.

Btw: Yu mean a new PSU?

I appreciate this advice a lot. I need to do this relatively quickly. I got the 660 dirt cheap which is why it would be nice to use it.(£40)
I need it for work as I have exams relatively soon. It would need wifi and I wouldn't mind being able to play games from time to time. I don't mind playing them on the lower graphical settings.

So.. you need a complete build or do you have a working pc already with a gtx 660 in it? Btw i use the msi gaming gtx660/ oc version and i can handle ac4 easy on high graphs so dont worry about that. But you will need a decent cpu for it. An i7 is not really needed I5's do the trick as well.

That A10-6700 processor costs here ( in holland) 134 euro. So thats really a office and standard stuff cpu. I would be a waste for your gtx 660. But if you got it like really cheap and you dont mind giving it a bottleneck go for it. Only prob is that that system has 300w psu. And nvidia reccomends 450w. ( altought mostly those 450w arent needed)

You got any links to a relatively cheap i5 that I could put the graphics card into?
I would build one but time is not on my side and neither is my knowledge on PCs.
I have a MacBook Pro which is useless for what I need a computer for.

I shall browse the interent for that now then.

Btw what price range?

Edit: After some searching i found that that cpu may not even be that bad but otherwise cheap solutions can be: a FX4350 from AMD. Pricing is close to Intel's i3 3220, but with higher gaming performance in new titles that can take advantage of quad-core CPUs.

Well you can take the advise of the second poster. Im not really known with the AMD and Radeon stuff. ( i stick with the nvidia, intel setup) so i cant give you much advise on amd cpu's
