Urgently need help with corrupt profile

my computer is continuously loading a temporary profile. i have been through regedit and tried deleting and renaming the profile but it creates a .bak profile every single time. i need to get this profile back urgently as it has some important work on it which was on the desktop in a folder and no does not show up on the hard drive along with all of my other desktop icons.
any help would be extremely appreciated

Have you tried booting in safe mode as an admin?

it wont let me change user account it keeps making me sign in as the corrupted one

yh srry been following the advice of alot of pple but im starting to think its a virus more than anything

You don't provide enough information about the error, nor do you answer my simple question above. Given the limited data available I can only point you towards the system manufacturer customer support (website), you can access that from a different system. Good luck.
