Fo some reason, the gpu temperature of the GT750m in my laptop heats up to about 91 C when playing graphics intensive games. I was just playing Arkham origins with all the settings turned on to the highest possible values and with just 2x MSAA, but I noticed the hot air blowing out through the vents at the side of the laptop. Even placing my finger there felt like placing it in fire. MSI Afterburner recorded temperatures of 91 to 95 C, even without overclocking. Is this temperature safe for a laptop GPU? If it isn't, what can I do to fix it?

the 90s are very high for a gpu, you can turn up your fans

for starters..i wouldnt try overclocking on a laptop.! the easy way is to manualy set the fans on maximum speed when under load! and see if you get any results.and open the back and clean the fans from any dust.if temps continue to appear very high then maybe you'll have to re-apply the thermal paste on gpu.95c is very high especially for a laptop.!

I just tried it again and, although at the beginning of the game it was hovering at about 70 to 80 C, it quickly came up to the 90's again. I am now afraid to play Arkham Origins or any of the latest games for that matter as the laptop seems to become an oven.

How do I set the fans to be maximum? And how can I open the back? Isn't that risky, as assembling a laptop isn't as simple as assembling a desktop? Thanks for your feedback, though.

Dude, the built-in gpu? And how do you expect me to play any of the latest games with the intel graphics? The amount of lag and stutter would make it unplayable with even the bare minimum of FPS. Maybe I might just complain, like you said, but I doubt that will come to any good.

Hi my laptop's 750M hits 77 degrees Celsius during games.... the i7 hits about 82 Celsius.
If the day is very hot I always use a selfmade pad to improve ventilation.
