AMD Radeon R9 270 Asus Screen Flickering

Hi everyone i have a weired problem here which is not the same as other people problems with intermittant flickering on 2D applications . The problem i am getting is i have a constant flicker effect on my screen that is only persistent whilst gaming . Unfortunately fraps doesnt seem to be picking up the flickering so i cant record direct i will try and get a external recording of the problem if i can so you can see it for yourself .

I was just wondering though if anybody has heard of this before or even expereicned it themselves before . I am currently thinking that it is most liekly a driver problem as i have tried an HD 7750 in my rig with the same driver and the screen flicker still happens but does not happen on a latest driver for the 7750 but the flickering does not appear when i plug into my onboard graphics which is an AMD A10 -5800k APU. I have tried the shipped drivers that came on CD , Newest WHQL driver and beta drivers all yeild same results.

Never have i had a problem with any of my Nvidia cards like this which has made me regret my decision of picking AMD .

The issue is well known with the AMD 270x. I had the same problem until the last driver update which was 13.12 WHQL.
One thing i would suggest is running a driver cleaner to fully uninstall all drivers and then reinstalling again. The driver didn't install properly until after i done this.
I still have a very occasional single flicker once every 2 hours or so but it should be sorted out by the next driver. Well hopefully:)
These cards are new and are bound to have a few bugs to work out.

Yeah i figured as much . Doing a driver sweeper didn't fix the issue for me . I also don't believe i am having the same issue as other people are having the intermitent screen flickering , i don't have that its more like intereferance on the screen which is constantly there whilst running games , i may be wrong and probably misinterpreting some peoples symptoms but none of theirs sound like what i get . Like i have no issues on desktop / 2D applications like many other people that have reported it .
It's not very noticeable on lighter backgrounds but on darker objects / shadows you can clearly see it . I am in the process of recording and uploading a video of what it is i am currently getting but seeing as fraps doesn't pick it up it may / may not be very clear on my camera.

Also have this problem. Updated BIOS and even downloaded the asus amd catalyst drivers on their site like what the tech chat said. only visible in gaming and visible on the desktop while minimizing the game.

I have the same exact issue.
Do you have Asus Radeon R9 270 DirectCUII Oc'ed edytion ?
I even tryed to turn donw the clock a little but it didnt helped anyway,
Please keep me posted if you fixed it.

Having same issue Asus Radeon R9 270 OC.. Does anyone found a solution? i'm having a little better view after switching monitor modes but this is not a solution..

At the end of the day I ended up buying a new monitor.
