I've gotten this message twice in the last few days since downloading BF4, any idea what causes this, and is it a known issue with the game?

do you have latest drivers?
I have read reports that BF4 is a bit buggy.... but don't know the specifics..
Makes sure you have latest drivers. .and then if still have probs - perhaps post back with your specs (including graphics card) and you may get a more authoritative response

Cheers

My graphics card display driver is 13.251.0.0 which is the latest and all my other drivers are up to date.
Here are my specs:
AMD FX 8350 CPU
ASUS M5A97 R2.0 Motherboard
Gigabyte R9 270X

Nothings overclocked if that helps

Yeah, i've had other crashes since i downloaded it, including a red screen of death which it seems many people are having issues with.

They messed up big from my experience with, you'd think they'd make sure it actually worked most of the time before releasing it

Just got a BSOD loading a map, i don't see how it could be my hardware causing all the crashes... CPU only goes up to like 30%usage when playing and the GPU hsould be able to handle it

My PSU is a brand new XFX Pro 550W (which is re-branded sea sonic i think) and is more than recommended.
When i first built my PC i switched ram with my brother (Mine was Low profile version which he needed) Although it was clocked to 1333MHz for some reason so i changed it to 1600MHz, could this have made it unstable even though it's meant to be 1600MHz?
I'l memtest my ram in a minute, thanks for your help so far :)

On Thu 02/01/2014 22:23:29 GMT your computer crashed
crash dump file: C:\Windows\Minidump\010214-29312-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: atikmdag.sys (atikmdag+0x277CE)
Bugcheck code: 0xA0000001 (0x5, 0x0, 0x0, 0x0)
Error: CUSTOM_ERROR
file path: C:\Windows\system32\drivers\atikmdag.sys
product: ATI Radeon Family
company: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.
description: ATI Radeon Kernel Mode Driver
A third party driver was identified as the probable root cause of this system error. It is suggested you look for an update for the following driver: atikmdag.sys (ATI Radeon Kernel Mode Driver, Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.).
Google query: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. CUSTOM_ERROR

There's the minidump file, I'll look for an update to that driver.

Im running a GTX 650 TI bosst and I can confirm that I get this alot but instead of it saying AMD it says nvidia. It usually occurs on the second to last campaign mission and yes my drivers are up to date.
