I am building my first caming PC, and will be doing a little bit of over clocking, but not alot. I'd like a fan that will allow the fx-8350 to be at its full potential. Which cooler would be the best without water cooling and extreme prices? Thanks

As long as you don't consider $70 extreme I highly recommend the Noctua NH-U12S. I actually just got one a few days ago on my FX 8350 and it keeps it very cool at inaudible noise levels. It's also very easy to install and you can add an extra fan if you want. I'm running my CPU at 4.5Ghz and I hit 48C on max loads. My old cooler master V8 would do an even 60c on loads, the stock cooler I actually hit 80 (i know, i know too hot) a few times.

I've used a few other coolers, specifically the Antec kuhler 920 and Swiftech H320 and they're crap in my opinion. The U12S keeps up with the best of the best air coolers and is small and RAM compatible. I highly recommend it .
