New Graphics Card for eMachines ET1331-02

I'm looking for a new cheap graphics cards for my eMachines ET1331-02 and would like to know if this is compatible with my computer - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004N3BH0C/sr=1-1/qid=1388697658/ref=olp_product_details?ie=UTF8&me=&qid=1388697658&seller=&sr=1-1
I'm not looking for anything fancy, as I'm fine with playing older games on lower settings. I have:
Processor-AMD Athlon II X2 215 Processor
Video Card-Integrated NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430
RAM-4GB

The PSU on your eMachines ET1331 is a low quality 250W PSU. You're not really going to be able to power anything considered an upgrade with that PSU.

Just about any card would be an upgrade over the integrated 6150SE :lol:

Given that low quality PSU your only bet would be to get a Radeon 6450 (which is slightly quicker than a 5450)

I wouldn't try powering an HD 6450 GPU with that low-end 250W PSU. AMD recommends a 400W or greater PSU for the HD 6450.

Unfortunately you will need to upgrade that junk PSU before adding any components.

Their power requirements are greatly overstated to be honest with you, many OEM 300W PSUs can handle a Radeon 7750

If it's a regular tower form factor PC just upgrade to a fairly cheap CX430 and add in a Radeon 7750/650 or a 7770, something on that level

I've never upgraded an eMachines PC. Maybe somebody can chime in that has. The only thing that worries me is that they might use proprietary connectors or an odd shaped PSU that may not be compatible with a standard PSU.

Ah, so I'm not very knowledgeable with computer parts, but what you're saying is that I can't get a new graphics card until I upgrade the PSU? From other forums that I've seen a good amount of people say that my eMachines computer isn't good for upgrading and that getting a new computer all together is better. I know almost nothing about upgrading a computer so I'm pretty much going into this blind.

If you're looking to play modern games it'd be a better idea to go with a new build to be honest, the era of the dual cores for gaming has been long gone
