Hey guys.

Thanks so much for your guys help.

You have given me lots of direction thus far and i still need a little help!

I am trying to build the best bang for the buck 500 gaming PC that can handle BF3 on Ultra setting.

I have received two builds.

please tell which is better!

Tell me what i can do to improve the better one and still keep it under 500.

Thanks so much

jake

Build 2 has a better graphics card so I would go for that one. Also, it's got the motherboard I use which I highly recommend for the price. On the other hand build 1 has the bigger hard drive although I would much rather sacrifice a bit a storage and get the better card.

Build two is better. HOWEVER, both motherboards aren't great. I'd personally go with an Athlon and a better GPU. If you overclock the Athlon, you should be good to go. While you may not get good frames on ultra, you should do pretty well.

Here's the build:

Build 2, is decent one in terms of gaming there, I would say throw away that case and a get a fractal design 1000 (or the usb 3.0 one) its going for $36 on amazon.

Replace the corsair ram with Patriot G2 Series 8GB x2 sticks which will save you about $20
and if you got few more dollars then get the hd 7870
