Logitech mouse is killing my laptop

Ok so I have no clue where I should ask this but I"ll just ask it here because I saw someone else did when I googled the problem.

What happened:
I had a counterfeit version of W7 on my desktop. After it became un-usable due to sound issues and the mouse not working, took the wireless mouse from the desktop, to use for my laptop, which was working FINE.

After I plugged the wireless mouse into my laptop, it WASN'T FINE.

The same problem that was occurring on my desktop with a fake windows, is now occurring on my laptop, with real windows. It's like a virus is on the USB stick for the mouse or something......

The problem:
On my desktop I can't LMB or RMB click at all. On my laptop, it is pretty much the same problem but to a less degree (mouse is usable) and it's in combination with the mouse, and the touchpad... When I plugged the mouse in first, I couldn't click right or left. After I unplugged it and waited a minute or 2, I could then use the touchpad. Now, even when the mouse isn't plugged in, I have issues clicking on things, like minimizing/closing windows. It just won't click on the button.

When I plug the mouse in again, the same problem happens but as long as I keep using the touchpad it prolongs it a bit before I can't click again. The problem immediately happens when clicking on multiple windows. crtl + alt + del somehow helps to reset the issue.

Even now, if I try to minimize this window, I can't I'd probably have to bring up task manager...

The mouse:
I don't know what kind of mouse it is, it doesn't say anywhere on it, nor in device manager, it just says HID-compliant mouse. Both touchpad, and this HID-compliant bs are 'up-to-date'. The mouse wheel appears to be broken because it is difficult to move, but still works. THE MOUSE STILL WORKS. The problem still occurs on my laptop when the mouse isn't plugged in, this has to be kept in mind.

So... can someone help me ? This really doesn't make any sense to me...

Solution
Have you even tried to troubleshoot with a different mouse? With a reboot of the laptop, the mouse NOT connected, do you have these issues?

I still maintain the mouse is the problem; wondering if it's sending wacky signals through the USB port causing your issues after it's been connected and disconnected.
This is why I ask the above - disconnect the mouse, shut down the laptop, reboot and see if the problem persists with your trackpad.

If the problem persists even after drivers have been reloaded without the USB mouse attached, we can move on to other solutions.

Try out a different mouse - if the problem persists when switching between your laptop and desktop, it's likely a simple hardware problem.

I've never heard of a virus lurking in a mouse - and unless you have a gaming mouse with on-board memory for storing macros, there would be no place for a virus to hide anyhow.

I dont care about the desktop anymore, the os is screwed. I simply don't use it because I can't. It's just my laptop. And like I said, the problem persists even without the mouse being connected to the laptop.

Right now I'm using the mouse and everything is working fine. Everything except the ability to minimize or close the firefox window from the top right. Other times I can't right click onto my desktop (on my laptop) or click on the windows icon, or pop up options, window options, etc.
