Is this a decent motherboard for gaming?

Hey

I am going to build a mid-range gaming system soon, and I couldn't decide which motherboard to go for. I want to have the option to overclock, but I will only be overclocking lightly and will only use this rarely. I am on a tight budget and this motherboard seemed decent to me. I couldn't find any reviews whatsoever of it and was wondering if you guys would care to give your opinions on this motherboard.

My current build: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/Inaam/saved/3i9N

Any ideas for an ATX case would also be welcome. It should have USB 3.0 ports on the front and be fairly cheap (below £60)

Thanks!

Thanks for your answer!
Would I still need to choose RAM with cooling even though I'm rarely (only when I need it) overclocking the CPU, and even then only lightly overclocking (0.3-0.5Ghz)? I won't be overclocking the RAM by the way. Or does that have nothing to do with it? I'm building a PC for the first time, so, sorry if I'm just being stupid!

The RAM is one of the more important parts of your PC. It's good to keep your RAM cool as if one of them goes you're loosing from 30 to 40 pounds on a new stick. If the RAM runs cool then you're confident that it will last longer. From my personal experience I would definetely suggest to go for Corsair Vengeance (LP or normal) and g.Skill Ripjaws X Series :)

Fair enough! Will definitely look at getting that RAM, and hopefully price won't be too much higher!

Thanks

Ripjaws X is good for budget PCs and it doesn't cost much at all :)

Yeah, only slightly more (£10) than the corsair in my build list. Thanks!

Any other comments about the motherboard are also welcome. It just surprises me that this motherboard is this cheap. As I'm not an expert on motherboards, I would like to know where Gigabyte is cutting corners. I won't be using Crossfire by the way, so the lack of this feature in the motherboard doesn't bother me.
