Hi,
I am thinking about buying a g.skill ram but I am unsure which one to get? Can you please help me and also explain me the difference between trident x series (which on g.skill website is the fastest in the series) and ripjaw x series. I want to know which one to get and which is the best and fastest. I am buying it for gaming only. Thanks for help in advance........

What platform are you planning on it for - Tridents X are the newest GSkill line of DRAM and by far are the 'fastest' as they run the gamut from 1600 right up through 3000 sticks...I've been running GSkill pretty exclusively since around 2008 - the Tridents are the best bet (from my experience for higher end builds, particularly with the Z87, X79 and Z77 - the RipJaws X are one of my preferred sticks (along with the Snipers) for the P67, X58 and AMD builds

Motherboard: Z87 Pro
Processor: i7 4770k
Ram: Still undecided
Hard Drive: Samsung 840 Pro 256GB (still trying to find a good deal, if you know some good deal, do tell)
PSU: Corsair 750W
Graphic Card: Still undecided (trying to find some under 300 unless there is something very good then its under 400, any suggestion will be helpful)
So you think out of the two links I gave, Trident x series is better? But isn't 16gb a lot when I am only making the pc is for gaming? I thought 8gb is enough.
