Asus Motherboard errors!

I just bought a m5a99x motherboard. I know I'm getting a ram error because when i boot i get 1 long beep then 2 short beeps and the dram light is flashing! (MEMOK button does nothing!) I'm using a crucial ballistix 4gb stick of ram (serial- blt4g3d1608dt1tx0) and a viper extreme 4gb ( serial- px34g1600c11) (this all worked on my previous MSI MOBO)

EDIT- i got it to work by taking out the viper extreme and just using the crucial balistix, i still dont know why the viper doesn't work!

That is the compatible problem because you mix the two RAMs, one has the cl8 timing and other has cl11. That is why we don't recommend to buy two RAMs with different speed or timing.
You can try to boot into the BIOS, set the timing to 11-11-11-31 and keep the voltage to auto in the RAM section to see you can boot the PC. If you can then tweak it to 10-10-10-30 and voltage to 1.55V, try to boot the PC again. And you can try other to 9-9-9-27 etc.
