I currently own a Western digital Caviar Blue 1tb, CM HAF 912 Tower, EVGA Supernova NEX750B 750W and a ASUS Radeon HD 5450.
I'm just looking for a cpu, motherboard and RAM for this build.

If you are using office and big data bases / spreadheets then a socket 1150 quadcore will set you back $180 .

If you are just emailing then the dual core is plenty

You can even ditch the graphics card , and probably even leave the case fans disconnected so they make no noise

Ya I figured I didn't need much power as i'm just using it for web surfing and microsoft office stuff. I already have the psu so I might as well use it even though it's more than what I need.
