Sorry if this is the wrong section(it was the closest i found) but I don't know what drivers I need. I will be using windows 8 on this computer. I also don't know if there are drivers for the mother board. A disk came with it but I don't know that it is for. My mother board is an ASUS P8Z77-V Pro. Also one of the biggest problems is I don't know what drivers i need for my video card. No disk came with the card so I have to download them. The card is an EVGA 2GB GeForce GTX 660. I'm not sure exactly which drivers I need from their site. Also if there are any other drivers that I need besides those I would love to know. Thanks.

Windows will load any MB drivers it needs to make the MB usable. Same with the gfx card. During the Windows Update that you will want to do as soon as you get the OS installed, it will find later drivers as needed.

But for best performance go to the Asus website and download the necessary MB drivers: http://support.asus.com/download.aspx?SLanguage=en&m=P8Z77-V+PRO&os=8
You will want the chipset driver, LAN driver, Audio driver for Windows 8. Be sure to choose 32 bit or 64 bit depending on your OS. You may have to download with a different PC if Windows doesn't find a generic LAN driver at the time of OS installation.

The gfx card's driver can be found here: http://www.geforce.com/drivers
Simply choose GeForce/600 Series/GTX...

So a disk called "Intel Z77 Chipset Support DVD Rev.597.07" came with that MB. Is that a driver that I will need to put on or will windows take care of that already. Also will I need to find the LAN, Chipset, and Audio driver some other place or will they too be loaded by Windows 8 (sorry if this makes a big difference but I'm actually using 8.1). Also you said that Windows will load any drivers for the graphics card. Does that mean that I do not need to download drivers from those Nvidia website and should I download the drivers there that are not the ones that say Game Ready? Also the same with the MB drivers. Do I need to also get ones fro that ASUS website?

Windows has a generic driver that it uses to get things going, but it would be better to use a driver made specifically for your hardware by the manufacturer. That disc you got with your board has a copy of all the drivers you need for your board. However, chances are the driver has been updated since the time that the disc was made, so it would make more sense to just go to the manufacturer website (so ASUS in your case) and download an updated copy from the windows 8 section for each driver.

Graphics card is a little different, you will want to go to nvidia's website and download the driver from there, looking under the gtx 660 section
