I recently purchased the GTX 760 SLI and have been getting around 30 fps in Planetside 2 and Skyrim. After some Googling I found that this is an unusually common issue with this card. The most common recommendation is to update or re-install drivers, which I have tried with no success. What other options are there for improving performance?

Here's what I am running:

CPU: i5-2400 @ 3.10 ghz
RAM: 8 gigs
Mobo: asrock extreme3 gen3
Res: 1920x1080
OP: win 7x64

make sure your motherboard bios is up to date to rule out a bios bug. also install the newest intel chipset drivers from intel. run gpu-z and cpu-z with cpu-z check that your ram running in xmp mode. with gpu-z make sure both cards are seen and running in 8x mode.

760s in SLI are a beast and will chew through games.

Unfortunately, both of those games are known for horrible SLI support.

You could very well have better luck running those games with only one 760 installed.

This is also an issue with Assassin's Creed Black Flag and Battlefield 4. You think switching to 760 would resolve the low frame rate issue?
