Video card hdmi pins bent

Hey guys I just found out that one pins in the female hdmi connector on the graphics card is bent back and now the HDMI port wont work. Is there anyway to bend it back in place and make it work or replace the connector completely?? Thanks ATM I have taken it in to see if warranty will cover it but im guessing they wont. Thanks

If it isnt covered, a work around is to use a different type of port. You may have to do something else re sound, but there you av it. I swear by a cheap speaker set plugged in the telly.

depending how bad it bent try using a thick paper clip or eyeglass screw driver or pick to bend the pin back. (check to see if it not a bent pin but one that snapped off from the monitor.).

K, yea i the hdmi cord i was using was a fairly cheap one probably what did it

What kind of card is it? If it's a Radeon card, the DVI will also carry audio to the HDMI port on your monitor if you use the adapter that all Radeon cards come with.
