What will improve my PC's performance without breaking the bank?

I need some help because I am not very good with computers.
I've been wanting to upgrade my pc for a better gaming experience for years but didn't know how to do so. I recently made a post to a "subreddit" specialized in pc optimization and didn't get any feedback.

My pc is a p7-1003w HP desktop.
I was wondering if those things I showed would be a good choice, if they are even compatible, and if there is something else I am missing. I have a budget of around $300 at the most.

there is no "upgrade" path for you with that machine - save your money until you have more than twice as much to spend and build a new one

the reason is, if you want a better video card, you would need a new PSU, if you want faster speed, you would need a new MB, Processor and memory - also a new SSD hard drive would be beneficial - so, you can see that you'd be replacing all the parts that make the whole in a chassis that none of it will fit in (probably)
