So, I started my computer up two days ago. I heard the fans start up, but they turned off. I thought this was normal, so I left for 15 minutes for a snack. When I came back, the monitor couldn't find a signal. I tried to use a different monitor, and it worked perfectly. Now, when I started it up, the same thing happened. I tried all the possibilities, new monitor same CPU, old monitor different CPU, etc. I opened up the case and there's a lot of dust in it, could that be an issue? But I disconnected and reconnected all of the fan's connections, and did the same with the RAM, but there's no change. What could be wrong with it? There aren't any bent pins... THANK YOU!

It might be a power supply issue.

Best bet would be to try the power supply in another system and if it doesn't work, it's time to buy a new power supply.

Can you connect a case speaker to the motherboard?

I'm sorry about my stupidity, but what is a case speaker? I have speakers, that require USB power..

Wait nope, never mind, I don't have a case speaker. I was going to buy a new power supply, but that wouldn't help would it? I just took reconnected the PSU with just the 24-pin connection and the 4-pin that go to the MOBO, but startup still failed..

No, something like http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... that connects to the motherboard front panel header (for beeps).
A case speaker is much cheaper. I wouldn't buy parts until making sure they're faulty. It might be just "wasting money".

So I should go out and buy a case speaker before anything else? Connect it and perform a POST test?

Connect it and start the board with only CPU and CPU fan installed, both 24 and 4/8 pin power cables connected. The CPU fan should spin and the speaker should emit the beeps signaling that RAMs are not installed.
If no beeps and CPU fan is spinning, then most probably it's either the board or the CPU.

Here's what I did, I disconnected everything attached to the MOBO and I reconnected them. The PC started up. Then I unplugged it from my workarea and plugged it into my office. When I did, all of the electricity in the house went out and so did the computer. I did the same thing, but it wouldn't turn on at all, so I took it to Best Buy to diagnose it. They said the MOBO is fried. When I got back home, I took the hard drive out of this defected computer, and put it into my other computer. On this PC, I had tampered with it before to get the PSU out and put it into my defected PC for test purposes. When I connected the HDD, the computer didn't start up at all. What's wrong with this other PC?

With the HDD disconnected does it start? It might be the power supply.

-_- being the stupid person I am, I connected the power button into the wrong header. Now everything is running smoothly! Only deficit is a fried MOBO. Thank YOU EVERYONE!
